Sunny Deol created a buzz in Bollywood circles as he stepped into Yash Raj Films Studios after more than three decades. The actor, who has maintained a cold distance from the studio since their fallout post the 1993 film Darr, surprised many by making an appearance at the iconic premises. His visit, however, was strictly professional and not related to any collaboration with YRF.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Deol was at the studio to meet popular composer Mithoon. The two are working together on Deol’s upcoming project Gabru. Initially, the meeting was scheduled to happen at Sunny Super Sound, the actor’s own studio. But since Mithoon was deeply engaged in recording sessions for Border 2 at YRF, Sunny decided to walk into the studio himself.
Sources told that Mithoon was conducting a massive recording involving nearly 80 choir singers, making it difficult for him to step away. Showing humility and professionalism, Sunny Deol chose to meet him at YRF instead. The insider added, “Sunny and Mithoon share an incredible rapport. Their combination already struck gold with Gadar 2, and now, after being impressed with Mithoon’s compositions for Border 2, Sunny was convinced he must compose for Gabru as well.”
The reunion of Deol and Mithoon has already raised expectations among fans, with many excited to see what magic the duo will create next. While Sunny’s return to YRF stirred nostalgia, it was ultimately music that bridged the gap.
