Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is gearing up for his directorial debut with the Netflix series Ba***ds of Bollywood. The first song from the show, Badli Si Hawa Hai, has already created a buzz online, and one unexpected dancer has stolen the spotlight Farah Khan’s cook, Dilip.
On Tuesday, Farah shared a hilarious Instagram video showing Dilip dancing to the song with kitchen utensils in hand. Called into the kitchen by her staff, Farah was left stunned watching him energetically perform the hook step. Laughing, she jokingly asked, “Tu unki gaane ki band bajaayega?” before turning to the camera to say, “I apologise Aryan, Shah Rukh, but the song is superb, guys, go and watch it.” In her caption, she playfully added, “My apologies to @iamsrk @gaurikhan n @aryan for Dilip’s enthusiasm!! Par gaana hain hi itna accha he couldn’t help himself.”
The video quickly went viral, drawing reactions from Bollywood’s biggest names. SRK reshared the clip on his Instagram story with his trademark humour, writing, “You should apologise, because in 30 years of directing me, you haven’t given me any dance steps as wonderful as what Dilip is doing??!! Still love you.” Karan Johar chimed in, saying, “Am a FAN of his moves!!! I need to do a dance-off with him.” Even Red Chillies Entertainment praised the cook, calling him the “real showman.” Aryan himself reacted with laughing emojis.
