Kajal Aggarwal dismisses death rumours after road accident claims, urges focus on positivity and truth

In a recent death hoax, actress Kajal Aggarwal was the target of unsubstantiated allegations that she had died in a car accident after suffering serious injuries. The actor herself intervened after the claims became viral on social media, stating that they were completely untrue.

Kajal used social media on Monday to reassure her admirers and well-wishers that she was safe after rumors circulated that she had been in a car accident. She said she’s doing well and asked people not to believe rumors that don’t have any merit.

Kajal wrote on her Instagram Stories as well as on X handle, “I’ve come across some baseless news claiming I was in an accident (and no longer around!) and honestly, it’s quite amusing because it’s absolutely untrue.”

“By the grace of god, I want to assure you all that I am perfectly fine, safe, and doing very well. I kindly request you not to believe or circulate such false news. Let’s focus our energies on positivity and truth instead,” she adds.

She was contacted earlier by ETimes to inquire about the reports. “I am busy right now and will connect with you later,” Kajal said in response to the call. Kajal most recently had a brief vacation to the Maldives with her husband, Gautam Kitchlu.

On Instagram, she posted photos from the trip with the caption, “The Maldives: my recurring love affair.I’d be happy to be guilty of a monthly get-together. Its enduring charm, eternal radiance, and sunsets that resemble nature’s most glitzy runway never fail to entice visitors. Take me by surprise each and every time.”

Kajal last appeared in Kannappa, directed by Vishnu Manchu. She also starred alongside Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in the Hindi movie Sikandar. She will then appear in Indian 3, directed by Kamal Haasan. She also reportedly appears in the two-part epic Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. It is thought that Kajal would play Ravana’s wife, Mandodari, in contrast to Yash, who plays Ravana. Sai Pallavi and Ranbir Kapoor are also featured in the movie.
