Karan Johar has joined the celebrations for Mirai, the fantasy adventure that has taken the box office by storm. The filmmaker, whose Dharma Productions distributed the film in the Hindi belt, praised Teja Sajja and the entire team after the film crossed the ₹100 crore worldwide gross mark within five days of release.

On Wednesday, Karan shared a smiling selfie with Teja Sajja on Instagram and wrote, “With the man of the moment!!! Congratulations to you @tejasajja123 and to the entire team of the magnificent Mirai! Today the itihaas spectacle crossed the 100 crore GBOC worldwide milestone!!”

His post instantly caught attention, as it highlighted the industry’s growing appreciation for the young actor.
Released on September 12, Mirai has performed strongly not only in India but also in overseas markets, particularly North America. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory, the film features Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, and Jayaram in important roles. It was released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
