RJD expels 10 leaders, including MLA, for ‘anti-party activities’ in Bihar

According to PTI, the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) fired ten of its leaders on Wednesday, including an MLA who is running against the party’s official candidate in the assembly elections after being rejected for a nomination. This comes a day after the party ousted 25 other leaders, including five former lawmakers, and two serving MLAs from the party on Tuesday.

According to PTI, Fateh Bahadur Singh, the MLA from Dehri, is one of the people who was expelled on Wednesday. The expulsion of Fateh Bahadur Singh and nine other people for “anti-party activities” was announced by Mangani Lal Mandal, the president of the state RJD.

Former MLAs Gulam Jilani Warsi and Reyazul Haq Raju, as well as state vice president Satish Kumar, are on the list of expelled leaders. Amit Malviya, the chairman of the BJP IT cell, criticized the RJD for the expulsions, claiming that if the expulsions continue, the party will soon run out of employees.

He posted on his X handle the most recent list of RJD leaders who were expelled, writing: “At this rate, the party will soon be left without any workers as well as voters.” Voting in the state will take place in two stages on November 6 and November 11, with the results being tallied on November 14.
