Sunita Ahuja has once again sparked discussion around her relationship with Govinda after revealing that the actor refuses to support her dream project. In a recent podcast conversation with Paras S Chhabra, Sunita shared that Govinda easily spends large amounts of money on religious rituals, yet does not offer her any financial support for building an animal shelter and old age home.
She explained that she does not want to rely on him financially for the project. “I will not take even a single rupee from Govinda because he won’t give money to me, but only to his chamchas,” she said, suggesting that the people around him influence his decisions. Sunita also expressed concern about Govinda’s health and career choices, adding that his current circle is giving him poor advice.
“The circle that he sits in has fools pretending to be writers. They misguide him. They don’t like me because I say the truth,” she stated, claiming that people often speak negatively about her to him.
Sunita went on to say that her intention is simply to help animals and elderly people, and she plans to fulfil this wish independently.
Govinda and Sunita have been married since 1987, and while their bond has stood the test of time, the couple has often faced speculation regarding disagreements and shifting dynamics in recent years.
