Three years ago, on February 24, 2018, we received the shocking news of Sridevi’s demise. A rude shock not only to fans but to the fraternity as well. The actress had made a top-notch comeback in ‘English Vinglish’ directed by Gauri Shinde who very lovingly remembers her today. In an interview with Etimes, the director said, “I’m getting goosebumps even talking about it right now. I still can’t bring myself to talk about her in the past; it’s weird for me to say ‘was’.”
She further spoke about her cheered memories with Sridevi during the film and added, “After working with her once, I couldn’t accept anything less. I don’t think I can work with someone I’m not very comfortable with, no matter how great or popular they are. I obviously wanted to work with her again and would have made a film with her now, and maybe every year!”
