Sania Mirza reveals how Farah Khan helped her through a panic attack

In a heartfelt conversation with filmmaker Farah Khan on her YouTube show Serving It Up with Sania, Sania Mirza shared how she navigated emotional lows and motherhood challenges after her divorce from Shoaib Malik, revealing the strength behind her public poise.

Tennis champion Sania Mirza recently opened up about her personal journey as a single mother in an emotional chat with her close friend and filmmaker Farah Khan. The candid conversation took place on Sania’s YouTube show Serving It Up with Sania, where the two discussed their struggles, resilience, and lessons from life.

The conversation began when Farah recalled her own childhood hardships after her father Kamran Khan’s film failed at the box office. Reflecting on the tough times, she said that failure can change how people treat you, but that it’s not just Bollywood that’s harsh, life itself is tough.

This led Sania to share her own experiences, revealing the challenges she faces balancing motherhood, studies, and professional commitments after her divorce from former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. Farah praised Sania for her strength, saying that being a single mother is one of the hardest roles anyone can take on.

Sania then spoke about a moment when she suffered a panic attack before a live show, and how Farah rushed to her side despite having her own shoot that day. “If you hadn’t come, I wouldn’t have done that show,” Sania admitted emotionally.

Sania and Shoaib’s marriage ended in January 2024 after 14 years together, with a statement confirming their separation. Shoaib later married Pakistani actor Sana Javed. Despite her personal struggles, Sania continues to inspire many with her honesty and determination.
