IPL 2021: Chris Lynn demands charter flight from Cricket Australia

“I texted back that as Cricket Australia make 10% of every IPL contract was there a chance we could spend that money this year on a charter flight once the tournament is over?”

Chris Lynn, who plays for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL, reports that he had already sent a message to Cricket Australia to arrange a private flight on Australian players’ secure return after Indian Premier League 2021 has ended. Three cricketers from Australia have essentially cut short their IPL season to return home.

Batsman Chris Lynn has asked the cricket load in Australia for a private flight to take the Indian Premier League (IPL) players home as India battles the disaster in Covid-19 conditions. Lynn says he feels at ease in the surroundings and had no urgent plans to go IPL under bio-security protocols.

Australia intends to cancel all Indian flights on Tuesday, to avoid the entry of more virulent coronaviruses.

Last week the government announced it would reduce the number of its residents who may come back from India and those in the red zone. Most of the crucial players of the country, including Steve Smith, David Warner, and Pat Cummins, remain in every event. The Australian IPL players were asked by Cricket Australia (CA) on Monday about their health and itinerary products.

“We realize individuals are more terrible off than us.” However, “we are coming from a truly close air pocket and will be immunized one week from now so ideally the organization will permit us to return home on a private sanction.”

“We may not need easy routes, and we have joined to know about the dangers. Yet, when the thing is finished, it’d be ideal to return home.”
The ordinary season finishes on May 23, trailed by capabilities and eliminators before the last on May 30.

However, CA haven’t yet replied to urge of Lynn.
