IPL 2021: PBKS skipper KL Rahul claims his 25th IPL fifty while playing against the RCB

Skipper KL Rahul registered his 25th IPL fifty while playing against the Royal Challengers Bangalore

RCB won the toss and decided to field first certainly also managed to dismiss Prabhsimran Singh within the powerplay. However, KL Rahul kept his calm and constructed his 25th IPL fifty in 35 balls with an impressive strike rate of 159.65.

Rahul punished RCB with seven fours and five sixes in his knock. The skipper has so far been one of the most successful batters for the Punjab franchise. His IPL average is 45.91 and has scored 132, his so far IPL best against RCB  that came last year.

Rahul played a promising inning till the last remaining 91 not out guiding PBKS to a handsome total of 179. With this knock, Rahul promoted himself as the orange cap holder with 331 runs in seven games.
