IPL 2021: Chahar vs Chahar in clash of the titans

Mumbai Indians will face the Chennai Super Kings in a high-octane match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.  Chennai Super Kings have been on a tear in the Indian Premier League 2021. With 10 points from six games, they are sitting at the top of the points table. Mumbai Indians, have got 6 points and they are standing in the fourth spot in the same points table.

Today, both the brothers will play against each other in this epic IPL match. Deepak Chahar has picked up 8 wickets in the 6 matches so far. On the other hand, Rahul Chahar has picked up 11 wickets and is currently sitting third in the purple cap ranking. They are the leading wicket takers for their respective sides.

The two cousins have been impressive so far in the ongoing tournament, with the former leading the pace bowling attack for Chennai Super Kings and the latter spinning a web around batsmen with his leg breaks for Mumbai Indians. The pair have come a long way since playing gully cricket together in Agra, and they are now essential cogs in their respective teams’ wheels.

Deepak bagged 8 for 10 on Ranji Trophy debut to bowl Hyderabad out for 21 – the lowest total in Indian domestic cricket – when he was only 18 years old, and Rahul claimed three five-wicket hauls in four Vijay Merchant Trophy Under-16 three-day games in 2013-14. Since then, they’ve been on the rise and are finally getting credit where it’s due.

For all the fans, it would be a treat to watch the brothers fight it out in a nail-biting match. In this interesting tie-up, who do you think will end up with more wickets?
