On Monday, May 10, the Indian skipper and one of the leading batsmen, Virat Kohli received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and urged everyone to vaccinate as soon as possible.
RCB’s captain shared an Instagram story after taking the first shot of the vaccine. He wrote along with a picture, “Vaccinate as soon as you can please.”
On Sunday, May 9, Virat Kohli thanked and expressed his respect towards the healthcare and frontline workers who are helping everyone in these difficult times in the fight against the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Also, Virat and his wife Anushka Sharma have joined hands with the crowd-funding platform Ketto to start their fundraising campaign to raise ₹7 crore to help India in this difficult time of the COVID-19 crisis. They have also contributed ₹2 crores to this initiative taken by them.
