The South African right-arm pacer Kagiso Rabada turned 26th on 25th March 2021. He has received a lot of recognition in his short but highly impactful career across all the formats. He generally bowls in a 140-150kph range which makes him one of the best speedsters.
In November 2014, Rabada made his T20I debut against Australia and in 2015 he debuted in longer formats. He has played a total of 148 matches in his international career so far. He has taken 202 wickets in 82 innings of 45 Tests at an average of 23.36. He has taken 119 wickets in ODIs, and 31 wickets in 26 matches at an average of 26.41 in T20 Internationals.
His best performance in 2015, when South Africa played against Bangladesh, Rabada left the Bangladeshi batsmen clueless in the first ODI with his top-class fast bowling as he made a 6-wicket haul, including a hat-trick.
Talking about his IPL career, Rabada made his IPL debut for the Delhi Capitals franchise in 2017. He picked up 25 wickets during Delhi Capitals’ run to the semifinals in IPL 2019 and followed it up with a Purple cap holder display in IPL 2020, where he took 30 wickets to power his side to the final. And he has delivered with a total of 69 wickets in 42 matches in IPL so far.
