Juventus’ senior football officer, Fabio Paratici, will depart the club at the end of June, the club has announced. His contract, which expires on June 30, 2021, will not be renewed after 11 seasons with the Serie A club.
Paratici is one of the architects of Turin’s golden era, which resulted in 19 trophies in 11 years. He was the talent identifier and former chief executive Beppe Marotta’s, right-hand man. He was promoted for his part in the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo in 2018.
A mini-revolution is predicted at Juventus, as there is growing suspicion that Max Allegri may return for a second stint at the Allianz Stadium. If rumors are to be believed, we can see an early exit of Andrea Pirlo, the former player, and current manager for Juventus. However, there are also some rumors floating by, which say that Zinedine Zidane might replace Pirlo and Allegri will move to Real Madrid. It all depends on Zidane’s decision in the coming days.
In a club statement, Paratici said:
“They were wonderful years of professional growth and strong emotions. Juventus gave me the opportunity to carry out my work with full freedom and without interference in full respect of my role.
“For this, I would like to thank the whole club, my staff, the employees, co-workers, the players, the coaches, the shareholders, and in particular, the President, Andrea Agnelli. An important chapter of my career closes, as I await new challenges.”
Official. Juventus director Fabio Paratici leaves the club. Final decision about Andrea Pirlo’s future will be made soon. ⚪️⚫️ #Juventus
