Karan Mehra who is popularly known for his role as ‘Naitik Singhania’ in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai has been taken into custody after his wife Nisha Rawal filed a complaint against him in Goregaon last night.
Currently, Karan Mehra is under custody in Goregaon police station and the police are recording his testimonies. Mumbai cops said that Nisha Rawal filed a complaint against her husband Karan Mehra following a brawl. The police even mentioned that the couples are going through a divorce proceeding in the family court. On the night of Monday, May 31 Rawal filed a complaint against her husband following domestic violence. An FIR has been registered under section 366 and 337 of the IPC act.
Nisha says that her actor husband pushed her against the wall and her head got hurt. The news of the couple getting a divorce started brewing from May, but the couple never officially spoke about it, but recently when TOI (Times of India) reached out to the couple, the Mehra refrained from commenting on the matter while his wife Nisha Rawal refused all the rumours by proclaiming that the news is ‘not true’.
The couple has been spotted in various Indian reality shows like, Nach Baliye 5, Bigg Boss 10 and Kitchen champion together. Nisha Rawal was last seen in the Indian daily soap Shaadi Mubarak. The couple got hitched in November 2012 after being in a relationship for several years, and now they are parents to a four-year-old son, Kavish.
