Sonakshi Sinha turns 34 today. The Dabangg actress holds some great roles to her credit and is very experimental about them. In one of her interviews, Sonakashi mentioned that she likes to play ‘challenging’ characters on-screen.
Here are her best roles, which are hugely lauded by Sonakshi’s fans.
1. Akira
A gripping action thriller movie that revolves around a woman named ‘Akira’. Akira has grown up with the single goal of being ‘self-reliant’. Her life curls out of control when she finds herself involved in a crime along side four corrupt cops.

2. Mission Mangal
Sonakshi Sinha played the role of Eka Gandhi in this movie. “Mission Mangal”, a Hindi-language film, tells the glorious true story of the women behind India’s first mission to Mars. Launched in 2013, the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), also named Mangalyaan, was India’s first interplanetary mission. For the first time, a country proved successful in getting its Martian orbit landed in the very first attempt.

3.Khandaani Shafakhana
The movie didn’t gain much audience attention but the role of Sonakshi Sinha’s role does deserve it.A feisty girl from Punjab tries to continue her family traditions by setting up a sex clinic to help and spread awareness in her hometown. The role ‘Babita Bedi’ played by Sonakshi is of a medical representative. She is the sole bread winner of the family and is challenged to run a fertility clinic for six months as a proof of her calibre to run their family business, despite being a ‘woman.

4. Noor
‘Noor’ is a tale of a young journalist Noor Roy Chaudhary (Sonakshi Sinha), who is having a hard time in her personal and professional life. She despises her life as her boss Shekhar Das (Manish Chaudhary) does not give her any ‘genuine news’ to cover, and her personal life is in trenches due to her weight issues. Ayan Banerjee (Purab Kohli) comes up as a ray of hope in Noor’s life. Noor starts to relish her personal followed by professional life. But, life takes a drastic change and turns Noor’s world upside down.

5. Holiday: A soldier is Never off Duty.
Sonakshi plays the role of Akshay’s love interest,Saiba in this movie.Holiday, the official remake of the Tamil hit Thuppaki, is about a patriotic soldier willing to run over a few rules in the line of duty, from shooting bad guys point-blank, to going romancing with Saiba. The movie has all the elements which make it a great weekend watch.

Sonakshi Sinha will be soon be seen in her upcoming movie ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ opposite Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt. Bhuj is to be directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya and will be streamed on Disney plus Hotstar VIP.
