Tollywood star Allu Arjun took to his Twitter, a photo of himself planting a sapling. Along with the picture, the Duvvada Jagannadham star also urged his fans to plant saplings and share their photos. He promised to reshare the pictures of his fans planting trees.
Along with the picture he tweeted, “This #WorldEnvironmentDay, let us take a pledge to plant more trees, adapt to eco-friendly habits, appreciate what nature does for us, and make our planet a greener place for the next generation. This is a cause that is close to my heart. I now ask everyone to take the initiative ahead. Share photo of you planting a sapling and I’ll be resharing some of them. Let us work together to save the planet and #GoGreenWithAA.”

Many other actors have also taken various initiatives on the occasion of World Environment day. Dia Mirza, an Indian model, actress, producer, and social worker also took a to instagram, a video post of her asking people to plant more and more trees.
