Bollywood star, Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Bell Bottom’ is going to be released next month on July 27. The actor who is playing the lead role in this spy thriller announced the release date through a short teaser.
Akshay tweeted, “I know you have patiently waited for #Bellbottom! Couldn’t be happier to finally announce the release of our film. Arriving across big screens worldwide #BellBottomOn27July @vashubhagnani @vaaniofficial @humasqureshi @LaraDutta @ranjit_tiwari @jackkybhagnani @honeybhagnani.”

The movie was initially about to release on April 2, but due to the ongoing lockdown the release date got extended.
This multi-starrer movie was much anticipated. It was assumed that the film will release on the OTT platform, looking at the current Covid scenario. But as the Maharshtra government announced reopening of the theatres with 50% capacity, the film is all set to release on the big screen.
Recently, a report was published by a news agency that the producer of the film, Vashu Bhagnani asked Akshay to reduce his fees for this project. However, actor Akshay Kumar in one of his tweets, clarified that it was a fake news.
Apart from Akshay Kumar, the movie stars Huma Qureshi, Vaani Kapoor, Laara Dutta and several others. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, the movie is set in the background of 1980s. The film is written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Sheikh, with production by Pooja Entertainment and Emmay Entertainment.
