The fourth and the final installment of the popular Hotel Transylvania franchise, titled Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, which was earlier scheduled to release on 23 July, has now postponed its release to a new release date. According to the new schedule, the movie is expected to hit the screens on 1 October 2021, making it a perfect time to release around the Halloween season. The release of the movie has been delayed by the studio with a hope to target a healthier theatre market since currently there are limitations imposed by the government in theatres in North America due to COVID-19 protocols.
Franchise creator Genndy Tartakovsky serves as the screenwriter and executive producer of the film, and the movie is directed by Jennifer Kluska and Derek Drymon. Selena Gomez, who will be reprising her role as Drac’s daughter Mavis, will also be serving as an executive producer for the film, along with Michelle Murdocca. The movie is produced by Alice Dewey Goldstone.
The film includes a stellar cast which includes actors like Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, Asher Blinkoff, Brad Abrell, Fran Drescher, and Molly Shannon. This new installment in the franchise will revolve around the monsters who embark on a brand new adventure which leads to exciting and interesting twists and turns that will make an eventful watch. The story focuses on a new invention that is created by Van Helsing, voiced by Jim Gaffigan, which converts all the monsters into humans, and Johnny, voiced by Andy Samberg into a monster. The rest of the plot revolves around how the characters work together in an attempt to get back into their original form
