Ahead of the India vs New Zealand Test series, Indian Batsman KL Rahul sustained a muscle cramp and has been replaced by Suryakumar Yadav.
On Tuesday, BCCI secretary Jay Shah said in a statement, ” He will now undergo rehabilitation at NCA in preparation for the series against South Africa scheduled next month. The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named Suryakumar Yadav as KL Rahul’s replacement.”
Rahul was missing from the Indian team’s formal training session, attended by nearly all the players on Tuesday at the Green Park stadium.
KL Rahul will now undergo rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru in trial for the upcoming tour of South Africa, planned next month
