A nasty brawl that the NBA star, LeBron James got himself into after his inflammatory tweet on Ma’Khia Bryant

Controversy owing to LeBron James’ tweet

A cop wrote an open letter to LeBron James to make him clarify the confusing and inflammatory tweet he posted about Ma’Khia Bryant. The LeBron James tweet about Ma’Khia Bryant’s shooting has sparked a debate that no one predicted. Although King James quickly removed the post, the LeBron James deleted tweet debacle drew widespread attention online, with many people dissatisfied even after the Los Angeles Lakers star provided an explanation.

Now, a policeman has written a letter to the NBA legend in response to his “irresponsible and upsetting” stand, which has been widely criticized. The entire letter from Idaho police officer LeBron James about what LeBron James recently said can be found here. A police officer named Deon Joseph wrote an open letter to LeBron James, asking to meet with him, in regard to new LeBron James deleted tweet scandal news. Joseph has a strong name in Los Angeles, where he is known as an Angel Cop for his job in the Skid Row neighborhood. He called the NBA star’s stance “irresponsible” and “disturbing” in his open letter.

In a now-deleted tweet, James posted a picture of Nicholas Reardon (the cop who shot Bryant) and said, “YOU’RE NEXT. #ACCOUNTABILITY.” Later, it was confirmed that Reardon opened fire after seeing a stabbing attempt. “I’m not sure if this will ever get to you, but my dream is that one day I’ll be able to sit down and speak with you,” Joseph said. “You are tired of Black folks dying? So am I. You hate racism and police brutality? So do I,” he wrote, adding that one cannot blame and taint 800,000 men and women belonging to “all races, faiths, sexual orientations” with a “broad and destructive brush”.

In the following tweets, James expressed his frustration at the shooting and admitted that he should have gathered more information. For the shooting, he remained compassionate to Bryant and her family. Although many thought the matter was resolved, some demanded that the NBA suspend their star player for an extended period of time. Many people urged Reardon to sue James and the NBA, whilst others urged Twitter to remove his account. Some users on social media accused James of bigotry, claiming that he suspends others for doing the same thing he does.
