A TikToker named Jackie, known for her lip-reading videos, decoded the conversation, revealing that Obama had asked Bush, “How can we stop what’s happening?” in reference to Trump’s inauguration. Both Obama and Bush then shared a laugh, making the moment both humorous and relatable.
While Obama attended Trump’s inauguration, he had campaigned for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in 2020 and expressed strong opposition to Trump’s return to power.
