Bollywood actor Aamir Khan appears to be entering a new phase in his personal life. More than two years after finding love again with Gauri Spratt, the actor is reportedly preparing to move in with her. According to reports, the couple will soon share a new home located close to where Aamir’s family resides, signalling a deeper level of commitment in their relationship.
Aamir first introduced Gauri to the media on his 60th birthday last year, revealing that they had been dating for around 18 months at the time. Soon after, an old video from Irfan Pathan’s anniversary celebration went viral, showing Gauri in the company of Aamir’s former wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. The clip hinted that Gauri had already become familiar with Aamir’s close circle.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Aamir confirmed the move and described the timing as hectic, as it coincides with the release of his production Happy Patel. Sharing his thoughts on commitment, the actor said he and Gauri are in a serious and deeply committed space. He added that, in his heart, he already considers himself married to her, and whether they choose to formalise it is a decision they will make over time.
Aamir and Gauri’s love story began long before their romance, as the two first met over 25 years ago but lost touch. They reconnected two years before his 60th birthday through a chance meeting arranged by his cousin Nuzhat, which eventually led to their relationship. On the work front, Aamir was recently seen in a cameo in Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos and is now gearing up for his next production, Ek Din, starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi.
