AAP government gives financial aid to six martyrs families

Earlier on Saturday, the Delhi Government announced that they would be providing financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to the families of the six defence personnel who died in the line of duty.

Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister, mentioned that the AAP government would compensate these families. Three personnel were from the Air Force, two from the Delhi police and one was from the Civil Defence from the six defence personnel who died in the line of duty.

Manish Sisodia in a tweet written in Hindi had said that the Delhi government has decided today to give financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to the families of the six martyrs who had sacrificed their life for the country. He also said that the Kejriwal government salutes the martyrdom of the brave fighters.

The names of the personnel whose families would be receiving the financial aid are Sanket Kaushik, Sunit Mohanty, Rajesh Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Pravesh Kumar and Meet Kumar.
