Abhishek Bachchan has finally spoken publicly about the persistent divorce rumours surrounding his marriage to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, firmly dismissing the speculation that has circulated online for months. In a candid conversation with Peeping Moon, the actor described the chatter as “rubbish” and “not based on any fact whatsoever,” adding that such stories have followed them long before they even tied the knot.
The actor noted that the fascination with their personal life is not new. “First, they were deciding when we were getting married. Then once we got married, they were deciding when we were getting divorced,” he said, highlighting how social media often creates narratives without any real basis. Emphasising the strength of their relationship, Abhishek stated, “She knows my truth. I know her truth. We go back to a happy and healthy family, which is most important.”
When asked whether these rumours affect him emotionally, the actor explained that he remains unaffected because there is no truth to them. “If there was any truth to it, it would affect me. But it doesn’t,” he clarified with composure.
The interview also addressed whether such speculation impacts their daughter Aaradhya. Abhishek shared that Aaradhya does not use a phone and that Aishwarya has taught her not to believe everything she reads online, ensuring she remains insulated from unnecessary noise.
On the professional front, Abhishek Bachchan is gearing up for the highly anticipated film King, in which he stars alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji and Suhana Khan.
