Actor and digital creator Abhishek Malhan has finally spoken out against the persistent rumours linking him to Jiyaa Shankar, his former co-contestant from Bigg Boss OTT 2. Expressing clear displeasure, Malhan has urged fans and social media pages to stop associating his name with unfounded relationship claims.
The rumours recently escalated after an entertainment page, Telly Khazana, shared a post suggesting that Abhishek and Jiyaa had made their relationship public and were possibly headed towards an engagement. The claim quickly gained traction online, prompting renewed speculation around the two.
Shortly after Jiyaa Shankar dismissed the reports, Abhishek also took to Instagram Stories to set the record straight. In a strongly worded note, he clarified that his association with the reality show ended years ago and that nothing has changed since. He asked people to refrain from linking him romantically with anyone.
Abhishek further pointed out that similar narratives resurface almost every year without any context. Calling it a recurring pattern, he said such speculation is disappointing and unnecessary. He added that he does not engage in rumours, assumptions, or publicity-driven stories, and prefers to focus solely on his professional journey.
