Accenture has acquired a cloud native product & platform engineering firm, Imaginea which adds around 1350 cloud professionals in Accenture. Imaginea is a US based company with regional offices in Hyderabad, Chennai & Bengaluru and currently cater’s to the need of more than 200 clients around the globe to deliver cloud transformations.
The financial numbers for the deal has not been made public but Accenture Cloud First has made a commitment to invest $3 billion over the next 3 years to bring cloud expertise, industry cloud solutions, ecosystem partner capabilities and 70,000 cloud professionals, assets.
