Hakimi took to Twitter on Friday evening to voice his displeasure about the decision. “What a joke!” he wrote. “If you have something against me, tell me! This is bull.”
Many expected Hakimi, who has made 46 appearances in all competitions this season, to make the team.

Hakimi was a crucial piece in Inter Milan’s run throughout the season. He was, considered by many, the best left-back this year throughout Europe as well. Certainly, that includes Italy. It was a huge surprise to all the football fans who witnessed Hakimi play this season. Moreover, it was Inter Milan who won the Serie A.
Instead of Hakimi, EA chose Cuadrado from Juventus. Even though Cuadrado had a good season, it seemed like Hakimi had the better season overall.
