Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd., stated on Monday that the Adani Group is investing Rs 2,500 crores to build a 48 megawatt state-of-the-art AI green data center in Telangana. Speaking at the Telangana Rising Global Summit’s first session, he stated that the company has already spent Rs 10,000 crore in Telangana’s manufacturing and infrastructure sectors, among other areas.
“In terms of digital infrastructure, the Adani group is investing Rs 2,500 crores to establish a 48-megawatt green data center in Telangana. This facility will be at the forefront of high-performance computing, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, and it will be essential to fulfilling the demands of India’s quickly digitizing economy. Telangana’s capital infrastructure and logistical infrastructure have grown significantly during the past few years.
The group has been instrumental in building highways, improving the efficiency of logistics, and establishing the state as a hub for logistics. “In, total, the group has so far invested nearly Rs 10,000 crores in the last three years in building state infrastructure and manufacturing facilities, and has contributed to employment generation of more than 7,000 people,” he stated.
Adani claims that in order to achieve Atmanirbhar Bharat, the Adani Group built a top defense and aerospace park in Hyderabad that produces UAVs for the Indian military and the international market. More than 1,500 young people work at the plant. The Adani company has constructed more than 100 km of roads connecting important areas including Mancherial, Suryapet, Kodad, and Khammam with a total investment of Rs 4,000 crores in road infrastructure.
