Adani Power faces loss of Rs.283 crore in Q3

Adani Power reported a consolidated net loss of Rs.289 crore in Q3 ending December 2020. This is much less than the Rs.703 crore faced in Q3 the previous year, PTI reported.

The company also reported higher revenues with total income standing at Rs.7,099.20 in Q3 December 2020 as compared to Rs.6,684.52 crore in same period the previous year. Along with this, the Plant Load Factor (PLF) of Adani Power and its subsidiaries was at 75% in the quarter as compared to 65% the previous year. This was because of higher demand for power in short-term and long-term PPAs (power purchase agreements).

Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Group told PTI, “Adani Group remains committed to sustainable growth of energy infrastructure, and becoming a key contributor to the nation’s economic progress.”
