On Tuesday, Manchester United dropped the new Adidas home kit for the forthcoming 2023/24 season.
“The deep connection between Manchester and its rich industrial heritage is beautifully represented in our new home kit,” Manchester United wrote on their website.

In a magnificent geometric design, the jersey pays respect to the city’s famous red rose and draws inspiration from the bridge over the River Irwell, which connects Manchester and Salford and serves as a symbol of the city’s power and incredible effect on the globe during the industrial revolution.
The red jersey features black shoulder details and a red, white and black striped flat-knit crew neck collar. On the chest, the club crest and Adidas logo stand out in white.
The new home jersey not only reflects the supporters and the city, but it also includes cutting-edge technology to enhance player performance.
The on-field version of the shirt makes use of ‘HEAT.RDY’ technology, which keeps players cool and comfortable by taking advantage of breathable fabric that quickly dries after absorbing moisture.
The replica version, designed for fans, has ‘AEROREADY’ technology, which uses sweat-wicking and absorbent materials to keep the body dry.
Also, the new home kit is made entirely of recycled materials, highlighting Adidas’ dedication to sustainability and its ongoing efforts to combat plastic waste.
