Now, Greta Thunberg, 18, a Swedish environmental activist has also extended her support to the Indian farmer’s. She tweeted, “We stand in solidarity with #FarmersProtest in India,”

With both the internationally known personalities tweeting about the ongoing protest has suddenly put it at the global stage which is reaching countries & people who weren’t exactly aware of it.
Many have criticized the tweet by Rihanna stating India doesn’t need international interference but many are seeing it as a sign that people from other countries are extending support towards farmer’s where as famous personalities of Indian community still won’t mention or talk about it; let alone extend their support to the cause.
