Ahaan Panday’s mother shares shocking fan incident as actor once received a letter written in blood

Ahaan Panday rose to prominence overnight with the release of his acting debut, Saiyaara. The love drama was one of the highest-grossing releases of 2025, with fans complimenting his performance and chemistry with co-star Aneet Padda. Now, in an interview with The Nod, Ahaan’s mother has spoken out about the dark side of fame, revealing that one fan wrote him a message scrawled in blood.

Talking about the love Ahaan receives, Deanne added, “His oldest fan is in his eighties, and his youngest fan is two and a half—her parents sent us a video of her dancing to Saiyaara in Abu Dhabi. Every letter is emotive. Ahaan refers to them [the supporters] as his army. Some letters describe how he has changed their life. Many are sweet and innocent, with young ladies writing about their desire to marry him or be his girlfriend. I think that really endearing. When I see ladies drool over him, I become emotional. And I am proud. It’s a very wonderful feeling to know your son is so adored.”

However, some of the fan mails were alarming. She recalls getting a blood-stained letter a few months ago. She explained, “We wrote back and asked them not to do such things. It is dangerous. That is not something he would ever desire for them.”

Meanwhile, Ahaan has already won numerous prizes for his debut performance in Saiyaara. The Mohit Suri film is one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2025, presenting Ahaan with promising chances. His next endeavour will also be under the YRF umbrella. Ahaan is rehearsing for an action romance directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and starring Sharvari. Aaishvary Thackeray, who made his Bollywood debut this year, has been cast as the antagonist in the untitled film.
