Doyen Congress leader, Ahmed Patel passed away at 3.30 AM in Medanta hospital of Gurgaon. The 71 year old politician was admitted since COVID-19 detection. PM Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi and several Indian politicians expressed their condolences on his demise. Ahmed Patel was born on 21 August 1949, represented Gujarat for 8 times in Parliament, three times in Lok Sabha and five times in Rajya Sabha.
