Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has been taken into police custody under 144. The party leader was scheduled to visit Kannauj to support farmers when their vehicles were confiscated by policemen. In agitation to this, Akhilesh staged a protest wherein he was slapped with Section 144 and taken under custody. The ongoing protests are followed with the centre implementing new three farm laws across the country.
