Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share a picture as she begins her prep for her upcoming maiden production ‘Darlings’ which is also backed by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.
The post featured the script of the upcoming movie, written by Parveez Shaikh and Jasmeet K Reen. She captioned it “Prep”.
The plot of the movie revolves around a mother-daughter duo going through various situations to find their place in the world.
Dil Dhadkne Do’s Shefali Shah is set to play the mother of the Raazi actor.
The dark comedy will also feature Roshan Mathew and Vijay Varma in supporting roles.
Apart from ‘Darlings’, Alia has a busy schedule for the entire year with her kitty full of films lined up before her.
She will also feature in Ayan Mukherji’s ‘Brahmastra’ co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.
The Raazi actor is anticipating her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next, ”Gangubai Kathiawadi’, who’s first look has left stunned.
Thirdly Alia will be seen in S S Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’.
On the other hand, Alia is actively engaging with NGO’s and Covid relief providers to do her bit to make the world a safer place and reach out to those in dire-need of Covid-aid.
