The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has unveiled an impressive roster of presenters for the upcoming BAFTA Awards, and among the international names is Indian actor Alia Bhatt.
The ceremony, set to take place on Sunday, will be hosted by Alan Cumming. This year’s presenters’ list reflects a diverse mix of talent from across the global entertainment industry.
Alongside Alia, actors such as Cillian Murphy and Kate Hudson are set to take the stage. Other prominent names include Bryan Cranston, Gillian Anderson, Glenn Close, Michael B. Jordan, Riz Ahmed, Stormzy, and Patrick Dempsey, among many others.
The announcement was shared through BAFTA’s official Instagram account. The British Academy also revealed an extensive nominees’ list, featuring celebrated figures such as Jacob Elordi, Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Emma Stone, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Rose Byrne.
Ahead of the main event, Clara Amfo and Ali Plumb will lead a live red-carpet show, while Neev Spencer will take charge as DJ for the evening. Emma Baehr, Executive Director of Awards and Content, described the line-up as a representation of the very best of film and the wider creative industries.
In previous years, Indian stars Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone have also presented at the BAFTAs, marking a continued presence of Indian talent on the global stage.
