Bollywood star Alia Bhatt has returned to her YouTube channel after ten months, delighting fans with a heartwarming new video. In a fresh episode titled In My Mama’s Kitchen, Alia steps into her mother Soni Razdan’s kitchen to learn her special Mac & Cheese recipe. This episode is part of the In Alia Bhatt’s Kitchen series, which began five years ago and showcases the actor’s culinary adventures.
At the beginning of the video, Alia reminisces about her childhood, sharing how she and her sister Shaheen Bhatt grew up enjoying their mother’s cooking. She also revealed that Soni now prepares the same beloved dishes for Alia’s daughter, Raha Kapoor.
The mother-daughter duo began the recipe by boiling pasta with a pinch of salt and a dash of oil. Meanwhile, they prepared a creamy sauce by heating butter in olive oil, adding flour (maida), and gradually mixing in milk to avoid lumps. While whisking the sauce, Alia accidentally broke the whisk, prompting laughter. Soni quickly replaced it, ensuring the cooking continued smoothly.
As they stirred the creamy sauce, Alia playfully blew on the spoon before tasting it. This small gesture reminded Soni of little Raha. With a smile, she remarked, “She (Raha) says food is hot all the time.” The light-hearted comment showcased the warm bond between the three generations and highlighted how Alia’s mannerisms reflect her young daughter’s innocence.
