In a recent interview with The Lallantop, Alia Bhatt shared her deep admiration for the iconic Akshay Kumar-led film Hera Pheri. Reminiscing about her early cinema experiences, she revealed, “I’m mad about Hera Pheri, it’s one of the first films I watched in the theater.”
While discussing her admiration for the film, Bhatt mentioned that she had met veteran actor Paresh Rawal but wasn’t sure if she’d shared her love for his role in the comedy classic. However, she promised to express her appreciation the next time they meet.
Apart from her love for Hera Pheri, fans were eager for an update on the highly anticipated film Jee Le Zaraa, starring Alia alongside Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. Addressing the buzz, Alia shared that the project is currently facing scheduling challenges. “There’s no shoot date right now,” she said, explaining that coordinating the dates of key cast and crew members has been tricky.
Despite this, she reassured fans that the film is still very much on the horizon. “Everybody involved wants it to happen, and with the right intent, it will definitely be made.”Fans of the actress can look forward to Jee Le Zaraa eventually hitting the screens, with Alia promising that the film will be worth the wait.
