Alia Bhatt’s deepfake video goes viral on the internet after Rashmika Mandanna and Katrina Kaif

After Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif and Kajol, a deepfake video of actress Alia Bhatt has been going viral on the internet. The viral video shows Alia’s face edited into another woman’s face. The actress has yet to react to the controversy.

Alia Bhatt became the latest victim of deepfake with a video in which her face was edited into the face of a woman in the original clip. The woman is seen making some gestures on camera in the video.

Rashmika Mandanna talked about her deepfake video that went viral earlier this month.  She wrote on X, “I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online. Something like this is honestly, extremely scary not only for me, but also for each one of us who today is vulnerable to so much harm because of how technology is being misused.”

The actress added, “Today, as a woman and as an actor, I am thankful for my family, friends and well wishers who are my protection and support system. But if this happened to me when I was in school or college, I genuinely can’t imagine how could I ever tackle this. We need to address this as a community and with urgency before more of us are affected by such identity theft.”
