Netflix has a history of advocating for media that shows the underrepresented in society. An actual vision-challenged girl will portray the series protagonist in the forthcoming film All the Lights we cannot see. The involvement and visibility of blind and visually impaired females in society will benefit them by reassuring them that they are valuable members of society.
The war series, which is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book of the same name, will be adapted by Shawn Levy (Free Guy) and Steven Knight. The award-winning novel of the same name was adapted into a television series that centers on the lives of two teens. Maurie Laure resides in Paris, not far from her father’s place of employment. When the Nazis invade Paris when she is 12 years old, they are forced to evacuate to Saint-Malo, where Marie’s uncle lives. One of the most valuable yet hazardous items in the museum is carried by them as they leave.
Werner Pfenning is an orphan who lives with his younger sister in a mining town in Germany. They are exposed to news on the radio as children about people and places they have never visited or never dreamed of seeing. He quickly develops a reputation for creating effective communication tools and is hired to put his skills to work finding the resistance. His interaction with Marie showed that, regardless of the circumstances, people always try to be kind to one another.
All the Light We Cannot See Season 1 Cast
The actress has to be blind or have impaired vision to qualify for the starring part on Netflix. They found Aria Mia Loberti, a disability rights activist, after two months of looking. She will take on the role of blind French teen Maurie Laurie. She will appear in the film opposite Hugh Laurie and Mark Ruffalo (Avenue 5).
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ruffalo is most known for playing Hulk. He will portray Daniel Leblanc, the father of Marie Laurie. Etienne LeBlanc, a former soldier with severe PTSD, is portrayed by Laurie. Other cast members include Andrea Deck as Sandrina, Louis Hoffman as Werner Pfenning, and Lars Eidinger as Sergeant Major Reinhold.

Netflix has not yet provided a release date for the All the Light series. In Villefranche de Rouergue, Saint-Malo, and Budapest, the performance was filmed. There is a potential that the series may be published either before 2022 comes to a conclusion or early in 2019. Further, this is due to the show’s erratic filming schedule.
