Alphonso Davies reaches verbal agreement with Real Madrid, expected to leave Bayern this summer or in 2025 : Report

The latest reports suggest that Real Madrid is apparently close to signing Bayern Munich’s spectacular left-back Alphonso Davies. According to The Athletic, Davies has reached a verbal agreement with the Spanish giants and is set to transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu in either the following summer or when his current deal with Bayern Munich expires in 2025.

Since Davies has no desire to extend his contract with the Bavarians, Real Madrid is eager to sign the Canadian speedster in a “below-market deal.” If required, Bayern might be convinced to work out a deal with Madrid to ensure they don’t allow Davies to walk for free.

This is also bad news for rivals Barcelona, who talked with the left-back’s agent about a possible transfer but did not act aggressively because they feared he would demand too much money and that they already had Alejandro Balde in the position.

Los Blancos are expected to benefit from another successful transfer window after signing Jude Bellingham last season. Reports of Kylian Mbappe possibly joining Real Madrid have been making headlines all over.
