Amazon invests ₹11,400 crore in India despite bearing losses of ₹7,899

Amazon has invested a large amount of funds across its business units within India. The sum is as large as ₹11,400 crore which equals to roughly $1.5 billion. This investment was made despite of the losses which the MNC faced during the fiscal year. Considering all units such as the Transportation, Amazon Pay, Amazon Wholesale etc, Amazon had to bear a loss of ₹7,899 in FY20.
