Amazon Web Services (AWS) will invest nearly Rs 20,761 crore in Telangana in order to set up multiple data centres in the state, said Telangana’s Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao, adding it is the largest Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the history of the southern state. The company’s latest move aims to attract more local as well as global services firms to host applications on its cloud facilities, said experts.
