Trinamool Congress MP and nephew of Mamata Banarjee, Abhishek Banarjee has filed a case regarding a defamation case against Amit Shah -Minister of Home Affairs.
According to Abhishek Banarjee, Amit Shah made certain defamatory statements against him on Aug 11, 2018 in rally of BJP at Mayo Road, Kolkata.
A MP/MLA of a special court in West Bengal has issued the summons and directed Shah to appear in person/by advocate in Bidhannagar court on February 22 at 10 AM.
The judge has requested that Shah presence is necessary to answer charges of a defamation case under Section 500 of IPC either personally or through a representative.
