Plot
In Anatomy of a Fall, the protagonist’s 11-year-old blind kid discovers his father’s body, leading the wife to assume his murder. Subsequently, the authorities look into the incident and attempt to determine what transpired on that fatal mountain day.

In addition to Sandra Hüller, the cast of the movie also features Sophie Fillières, Anne Rotger, Camille Rutherford, Saadia Bentaïeb, Swann Arlaud, Milo Machado-Graner, Jehnny Beth, Samuel Theis, and Antoine Reinartz.

Justine Triet directed the movie, and Arthur Harani co-wrote the script with Triet. Under the production companies Les Films Pelléas and Les Films de Pierre, Marie-Ange Luciani and David Thrion are producing it. Film editor Laurent Sénéchal worked with cinematographer Simon Beaufils.
Box-office collection
Anatomy of a Fall brought in $5.1 million in revenue in the US alone, and $32.6 million globally. The movie made its debut in more than 379 French theatres, making it the third French Palme d’Or winner to surpass one million admissions in the country.
Awards won
Anatomy of a Fall, a film by Justine Triet, debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023 and went on to win the Palme d’Or and the Palm Dog Award, the festival’s top honours.
