The AK vs AK actor, Anil Kapoor takes a step in the forward direction, by parenting a sapling on the occasion of World Environment Day.
The paparazzi near the veteran actors Juhu residence spotted him doing his bit for the environment by ploughing the ground, planting a sapling and thereafter watering it using a large green water can.
The initiative was a part of BMC’s MEGA Vriksha Campaign.
Upon further conversation between Anil Kapoor and the paparazzi, the former expresses his feelings about the campaign and says that “all it takes is a small step” to com forward and raise importance.
As the entire world celebrates the World Environment Day amidst the ravaging pandemic, it’s good to see many B’Town celebrities doing their bit to create awareness towards a greener and cleaner environment as well as generate a sense of responsibility towards nature.
On the work front, Anil Kapoor was last seen with Disha Patani and Aditya Roy Kapoor in the mystical movie, Malang. He will now be next seen in “Jug Jug Jeeyo” opposite Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. He is also said to have other films lined up, one of which is also starring the glamourous actor turned writer, Priyanka Chopra Jonas
