The Health Minister of Haryana Anil Vij has tested positive for Coronavirus disease after he had been vaccinated with Covaxin last month. The Minister had volunteered to participate in the third phase trials of the COVID-19 vaccine on the 20th of November. Covaxin is being developed by Bharat Biotech and ICMR. Anil Vij is currently admitted in the Civil Hospital of Ambala Cantt and he has asked everyone who came in close contact with him to get tested for the virus.
