Anita Hassanandani clarifies rumours of quitting the industry

Anita Hassanandani takes to Twitter to clarify rumours about her quitting acting after the birth of her son, Aarav.

After the incessant rumours about Anita Hassanandani taking a backseat from her career and quitting acting, Anita herself clears the air on the matter by taking to her Twitter handle.

She wrote, “It’s all over that I’m quitting my first love ACTING I never said that…. All I said was that my focus right now is my child…. Aaravv is my priority… I will resume work when I’m ready.”

The Naagin Actress and her husband, Rohit Reddy have been blessed with a baby boy named Aarav.

Talking to Bombay times earlier today, she shared that she wants to stay away from acting for a while to be able to concentrate on “being a mother”. She also added that staying away from acting has nothing to do with the ongoing pandemic.

In an interview, she said, ““I had decided that whenever I would have a child, I would leave the industry and let go of my work. I always wanted to focus on being a mother. So it’s not about the pandemic, I would have either way left the industry, pandemic or no pandemic. I want to be at home with my kid.”

When asked about when she plans to return, the Naagin actress stated, “Honestly work is the last thing on my mind right now. I really don’t know when I will get back.”

However, these words got misinterpreted and the news about Anita completely quitting the industry spread around like wildfire.
