Anita Hassanandani quits acting, says “Always wanted to concentrate on being a mother”

Anita Hassanandani decided to take a break from acting after her son’s birth, said work is the last thing on her mind right now.

Anita Hassanandani is a doting mommy now. The actress greeted her first child, a baby boy, in February this year. Since then, she has been sharing some fun and adorable videos with her little one named Aaravv Reddy, who is already a star on Instagram.

Anita is relishing her role as a new mommy in town and isn’t in a rush to return to acting. In an interview with a leading daily, Anita revealed that she has quit acting for the time being.

Anita announced that she had decided to quit the industry post welcoming her child and the pandemic isn’t the reason behind quitting acting. “I had decided that whenever I would have a child, I would leave the industry and let go of my work. I always wanted to focus on being a mother. So it’s not about the pandemic, I would have either way left the industry, pandemic or no pandemic. I want to be at home with my kid,” she told.

She also clarified that she would resume work when she is ready. She said she is not bidding adieu to the industry and just taking a small break to take care of her newborn son.

“It’s all over that I’m quitting my first love ACTING. I never said that. All I said was that my focus right now is my child. Aaravv is my priority I will resume work when I’m ready,” Anita tweeted.

Anita and Rohit Reddy tied the knot in 2013 in Goa. In February this year, the couple welcomed their son Aaravv.
